What is Alerts for Merch?
Alerts for Merch is a series of fast and free merch bots for different music artists/retailers. We have both a number of Twitter accounts and a mobile app.
What is a merch bot?
Merch bots are small programs that allow you to detect the absence or presence of items in a given artist's merch store, and alert folks to those changes.
In this case, we send alerts to both Twitter and users of the Alerts for Merch app.
Often, it's the case that high-popularity items (e.g., signed CDs/vinyls) will be added/restocked to a given store at a random time - and are immediately snatched up by bots. We aim to help humans have a chance at beating those bots.
What does the Alerts for Merch app do?
With the app, you get:
Notifications as soon as Alerts for Merch picks up a change, cutting out the Twitter and Discord middleman
One-tap to checkout for signed items
Subscriptions to multiple artists/retailers, all in one place
Filters to get notified for item categories, apparel sizes, and item statuses that you care about (and silence for those you don"t)
